ASA 2015 Living and learning Research for a better built environment

On behalf of the organising committee, we would like to welcome you to the 49th International Conference of the Architectural Science Association (ANZAScA). The 2015 conference is being hosted by the Melbourne School of Design, The University of Melbourne, Australia. The theme of the Conference is ‘Living and Learning: Research for a Better Built Environment’. This reflects our view of a sustainable built environment as a maturing industry and field of research, but one that we still have a lot to learn about in order to achieve real change.

The 2015 conference will begin with an evening welcome reception on Tuesday 1st December, followed by 3 full days of cutting edge research from around the world. Topic areas within the conference are diverse but relate to Architecture, Construction, Sustainability, Research and Education of our built environment.

There will be an opportunity to tour the new Melbourne School of Design 6 Star Green Star rated facility that was completed in October 2014 and represents the highest standard of an Australian sustainable educational facility. The conference dinner is being held at the world-renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground, including an opportunity to walk on the hallowed turf.

This website will provide information and updates leading up to the conference, so please continue to refer back here for announcements. We look forward to hosting you in Melbourne, Australia and at the Melbourne School of Design at The University of Melbourne.
