A welcome reception will be held on the Japanese Terrace (Level 4) of the Melbourne School of Design (MSD) Building, beginning at 6pm on Tuesday 1st December. All participants (full and one-day) are invited to enjoy drinks and canapés while enjoying the Japanese inspired gardens and heritage-listed Japanese Room on this early summer evening. This event provides an opportunity to network with fellow conference delegates and explore the MSD Building.
The conference dinner is being held at the world-renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), beginning at 7pm on Thursday 3rd December. The dinner is included in the registration fee for all delegates, except for one-day registrations. Participants have an opportunity to join a tour of the ground prior to the dinner (6pm) including a walk on the hallowed turf and a visit to the famous Long Room and players rooms. This tour must be booked during the registration process.
John Wardle, Founder of John Wardle Architects and architect for the MSD Building, will present a keynote on the MSD Building during the dinner.
Music is being provided by James Wakeling (guitarist) and Robert Vincs (saxophonist).
